The Department of Business Administration, Vyasa Arts & Science Women’s College, organized a One-Day Workshop on “Critical Thinking” on 09.09.2026 at the College Seminar Hall. The workshop was organized with the objective of developing students’ analytical abilities, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and confidence in approaching real-life situations. The session was handled by Mr. V. Sudalai Muthu, BCA, MBA, M.Sc. Psychology, M.Phil., Ph.D., Placement Officer, JP College of Arts and Science, Ayikudi, who delivered an engaging and practical session on the importance and application of critical thinking. The Resource Person, delivered the session effectively through an excellent combination of explanation, interaction and activity-based learning. His practical approach helped students understand that critical thinking is not merely an academic skill but an essential competency for effective decision-making, problem-solving and career development. The enthusiastic participation of the students, their interaction during the activities and the positive feedback received through the Google Form reflected the success of the programme. The programme successfully provided students with an opportunity to think, analyse, question, interact and solve problems, thereby contributing meaningfully to their overall academic and professional development. The workshop concluded successfully with positive participation and encouraging feedback from the students.
