A seminar was successfully conducted by Physics and Chemistry department at our college. The program provided valuable academic exposure to our queens and faculty members. First, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Management for giving us the opportunity to organize such an informative and enriching program. The event was graced by the presence of our Principal Sir, Vice Principal mam, and Academic In-charge mam. The chief guests were respectfully honoured, followed by the welcome address. The morning session was led by Mr. S. Shanmugaiah, Promotion officer, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and attended by a total of 70 queens (include Maths). He delivered an informative presentation on BIS. He explained the importance of BIS, its various standards and certifications, and how BIS certification helps consumers identify the quality and authenticity of products. At the end of the session, he conducted a written test for the students based on the topics discussed and announced that cash prizes will be awarded to the winners. We happily congratulate the winners and participants of this program. The afternoon session was handled by Dr. A. Samson Nesaraj, Professor of Chemistry at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, and attended by 50 queens. He delivered an insightful and engaging lecture on energy materials, sustainable energy sources, and nanomaterials. During the session, Dr. A. Samson sir appreciated our college facilities and mentioned that our queens are fortunate to have excellent laboratory facilities and infrastructure for their academic and practical learning. Both sessions were very informative, innovative, and beneficial to our queens. This seminar enhanced the queens' knowledge beyond the classroom and provided valuable exposure to practical applications and recent developments in Physics and Chemistry. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the management, dignitaries, chief guests, faculty members, and our queens for their valuable support and active participation in making the program a grand success.
