An Awareness Programme on Women's Welfare and Child Safety was organized in our college to create awareness among students about personal safety, legal rights, and child protection. Mrs. I. Suhashini, Sub Inspector from the Singapen Action Force Team, along with two officials, delivered an informative session on women's welfare and child safety. They explained the importance of recognizing and reporting abuse, ensuring a safe environment for women and children, and promoting responsible citizenship. During the programme, the resource persons also shared important women's and child safety helpline toll-free number 1091 and encouraged students to use these services whenever assistance or support is needed. The awareness programme was highly informative and helped students gain valuable knowledge about safety, protection, and welfare.
