An AIDS Awareness Programme was conducted by the Department of Zoology on 26.12.2025 at the Seminar Hall. The programme featured two resource persons, Mrs. Sakkammal, ICTC Officer, Sivagiri, and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, ICTC Officer, Thenkasi. The sessions focused on creating awareness about HIV/AIDS, highlighting the modes of transmission, symptoms, preventive measures, and available treatment options. The programme was informative and interactive, enabling students to gain scientific knowledge and awareness about HIV/AIDS and its prevention.
