As part of extension activity II MA students went to Anbu Illam, a Home for the Destitute and Mentality Challenged. The Home is run by Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament. Our PG students provided morning breakfast for the inmates on 05.03.2025. As we reached Anbu Illam by 10.00 am we were cordially received by the Sister. We met the Father and the Mother Superior. Mother Superior took us around the Illam. The Father explained the motive of the Home. He played a short video describing the deeds done by the members of the trust. The home is located in a serene place. We met the inmates during lunch The service made us realize that as a responsible citizen what we should do to contribute to these homeless people. The activity was also an eye opener for all of us and very well related to our college principle which gives importance to humane activities. Father expressed his gratitude to our college for involving in this noble cause. We left the home by 1.00 pm.
