In collaboration with Magnus Chess Academy, Alangulam, our college hosted the first Tamil Nadu State Level Open & Children's Chess Tournament. Totally 180 chess players competed in the open category, U9, U11, U13, and U15 divisions. Dr. S. Sundar, our secretary sir, gave away the shields to the prize winners, by his golden hands. It was a grand success.
