Amidst the rainy weather and University’s postponed examination conduction, the celebrations were held in the Afternoon session on two days. This year’s theme was Tamilian’s 5 different Lands, their culture & tradition, their values and valour, their handi-crafts and their entertainment past and present. Each department was given each topic on lot. They worked very hard & exhibited models with explanation. It was very Educative and Effective. Every one enjoyed. The Management on its part had constructed “CHIRU VEEDU” with CHEER VARISAI. Arts and science groups cooked Ven Pongal and Sweet Pongal and offered to Surya God. All 300 Cheer varisai plates things were given to all relatives and non-teaching staff like Drivers, Ayahs and Sweepers. The first day’s event was ended with this. Second day was more entertaining. Dances & Dramas were put based on their theme. Chairman Sir, Managing Director Madam, Secretary Sir, Principal Sir, Exam Co-ordinator, All H.O.Ds, Professors, non-teaching faculties and all Vyasa Queens participated and enjoyed thoroughly. It was a grand success. Thanks to the Almighty for His Manifold Blessings in making this event a Cherishable and Memorable one!
